It’s certainly not impossible to teach yourself web design. Especially in a case like mine, where I dabbled in it for a while in the 90’s, and learned all the HTML tags that no longer apply.
But I’m realizing that my method of starting on a desgin, then flipping to a relevant section of a book to solve any problems, doesn’t work when you don’t have the book. And my favorite book store, the Borders on South Lake in Pasadena, closed months ago. (Incidentally, how do you get to name a street Lake, when there’s no body of water in the vicinity that even resembles a lake?)
This is my karma for reading magazines at the store and never buying.[social_share /]
